Distinct Cremations are part of the Westerleigh Group, who own 42 crematoria across mainland Britain. Their price page names Babworth Crematorium among them. Babworth, near Retford, is where we take families from Nottinghamshire and Doncaster.
So depending on where you live, choosing between us may not change the building your loved one goes to. What it changes is who arranges everything, and whether the figure you are quoted holds.
Distinct start at £1,350 for a direct cremation arranged now, and from £1,795 for their funeral service plan. We are £1,295.
£55 is not a reason to choose anything. Treat the two as roughly the same price and decide on everything else.
Their price page deserves a word while you are there. It is clear, it is itemised and it carries a date, which is rarer in this trade than it should be.

Collection from a home, a hospice, a hospital or a care home is inside our £1,295, with no mileage charge in London, Nottinghamshire or Doncaster, and £250 only when it has to be urgent. Distinct publish no home collection charge on their price page, which may well mean it is included, so do ask.
They offer an attended funeral service of thirty or sixty minutes, with music and a eulogy if you want them. We do not do attendance at a cremation at all. We offer a viewing beforehand, an hour with the coffin at a chapel of rest, for close family, for £150.
They return or scatter the ashes within fourteen days. We bring them back to you.
Forty two crematoria across mainland Britain, against our three areas. If you are outside London, Nottinghamshire or Doncaster, Distinct can help you and we cannot.
They also own those crematoria rather than buying space in someone else's, which gives them a degree of control over timing and handling that very few firms in this market have.
